The Egyptian and US presidents stressed commitments to the roadmap peace plan and the anti-terror fight at a press conference jointly held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt Tuesday after a US-Arab summit.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak expressed appreciation of the "strong support" by his US counterpart George W. Bush for the internationally-backed roadmap.

He urged Israel to honor its commitments to the roadmap, while rejecting terrorism in pursuit of a solution.

Bush reassured his Arab host that the United States and "myself"are committed to the peace plan.

He called on all parties concerned to seize the opportunity for peace.

The US president renewed his determination to fight terror, saying a few terrorists cannot derail hopes for peace.
