US President George W. Bush began to discuss with Arab leaders about the "Roadmap" plan for the Middle East peace on Tuesday in Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, CNN reported.

Bush was expected to assure the Arab leaders of the US and his personal commitment to restoring peace in the volatile region, and seek their support for the "Roadmap" plan aimed at ending the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflicts.

The long-awaited "Roadmap" plan, cosponsored by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia, was released in late April this year.
