"I want Chinese team do good in the world cup and there is a possibility that Chinese team will roll to the second round," Siraj, who is also the Assistant General Secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation, said while talking to China's Xinhua News Agency on Sunday.
"Chinese football is coming in a bigger way because they are getting strong supports both from the government and the people," he said.
"We are proud that the World Cup is being held in Asia for the first time. This has created extra heat among the fans of Asians," Siraj said.
He also said there is every possibility that the Asian teams will do better in this world cup because the weather is more suitable for them than others.
