Chinese President Xi Jinping has met visiting Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Xi Jinping praises Myasnikovich for important contributions to China-Belarus relations. He called for continued development of the comprehensive strategic partnership, and cooperation in industry, high-tech, finance, and transport. Xi Jinping also advocated stronger political ties.

Myasnikovich praised China’s accomplishments in recent years and expressed his best wishes for the Chinese Dream. He also favors learning from China and working together to strengthen the partnership.

Myasnikovich arrived in Beijing on Sunday and was welcomed by Premier Li Keqiang on Monday. This is his first official visit to China since becoming prime minister in 2010.
