BEIJING, June 15 (Xinhua) -- An article by President Xi Jinping on unswervingly following China's human rights development path and advancing the development of China's human rights cause will be published Thursday. The article by Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will be published in this year's 12th issue of the Qiushi Journal, a flagship magazine of the CPC Central Committee.

China voices firm opposition to European Parliament's Xinjiang resolution

BEIJING, June 10 (Xinhua) -- A spokesperson of China's top legislature on Friday voiced stern opposition to a so-called resolution newly adopted by the European Parliament on "the human rights situation in Xinjiang." China firmly opposes the European Parliament's "political manipulation and gross interference in China's internal affairs under the guise of human rights," said You Wenze, spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress.
