Change 6: the structure of Chinese army
The decision to "optimize the size and structure of the army, reform the leadership system, and reduce non-combat institutions and personnel" was made at the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee in November. It means China will deepen reform and adjustment of military system and establishment, promote army–civilian integration, improve non-military personnel system, and build scientific and standard army cadres system.
