| 7. Temple Islands (Main islands). Looking down from Danya Mountain in Penglai City, one can spot one after another small islands in blue sea, which are like gems decorating in blue sea. These islands are known as the Temple Islands or Miaodao Islands. Due to their sandy beaches and picturesque limestone cliffs, they are also referred to as the "Fairytale lands in the Sea." The Temple Islands consist of 32 islands, of which North and South Changshan Islands form the main islands. South Changshan Island features a huge Migratory Bird Pavilion, where you can enjoy the amazing scenery of South Changshan Island and Bohai Sea.
