China's first aircraft carrier sets sail (2)

After around one-month rest, China's first aircraft carrier the Liaoning departed from Qingdao port in eastern China's Shandong province on Wednesday morning for a training drill from October 23 to November 14, according to a report by national broadcaster China Central Television.

It is understood that the carrier fighter training is the main mission during this sea voyage. Military fans also speculate that the Liaoning may participate in the ongoing military exercise jointly conducted by the three fleets of the Chinese Navy.
