Background of Wanxiang Group and Lu Guanqiu

Lu Guanqiu is a self-made billionaire who was ranked fourth in Forbes China Rich List in 2002 and 10th in 2006. Lu is currently the President of the Board of the Wanxiang Group which was founded in 1969. The company produced small agricultural machines at the beginning, and eventually became a large manufacturing conglomerate and a leading producer of automobile facilities and components.
