Cher Wang, daughter of famous Taiwanese entrepreneur Wang Yung-ching (Jan 18, 1917-Oct 15 2008). She is co-founder of HTC Corporation which was established in 1997, and founder of Vit Technologies in 1987. She was named “Stars of Asia” by U.S. magazine Business Week in 2005, innovator of 25 Leaders on the Forefront of Change. HTC is one of the largest smartphone makers in the world.

Wang Yung-ching was on the Forbes list Taiwan’s Riches; he was the chairman of the board of Formosa Plastic Corporation, one of the largest plastic manufactures in the world. He died in 2008.
