Xiangjie village is located at the Sino-Burmese border. In 2004, there were nearly 100 drug addicts in the village with 600 families. HIV was spread in this village through unsafe sex and intravenous drug abuse. At that time, the village is a drug-and-AIDS-ravaged area. (CNS/He Yaxin)
