5. Zizhuyuan Park
For visitors who are fond of bamboo and wide waters, Zizhuyuan (Purple Bamboo) Park is a good choice. Located in Haidian District, northwestern Beijing, this park is renowned for its bamboo scenery.
The park consists of three interconnected lakes covering a total area of 48 hectares. There are five arch bridges connecting the lakes, islands and hills into a single integrated area. Pavilions, corridors and bridges hide in the tall bamboo across the park.
