BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- China urges the United States to stop interfering in China's internal affairs and containing China's development under the guise of human rights, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a daily news briefing when asked to comment on the U.S. move to place several Chinese companies on a list of businesses over the so-called "forced labor" in Xinjiang.
China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, the spokesperson said.
