China, Russia see destructive external interference as main source of instability across Eurasia: joint communique
ST. PETERSBURG, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Russia view destructive external interference as the main source of instability across Eurasia and strongly condemn any acts of external coercion through the use of force, according to a joint communique released Wednesday.
Both sides firmly uphold the United Nations-centered international system and the international order based on international law, said the communique issued after the 31st regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government in St. Petersburg.
They also support consolidating fair international relations on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation among sovereign states and oppose dividing the world into rival regions or blocs, it said.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang co-chaired the meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday.
