(Xinhua) 09:14, October 13, 2026
BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- China has always opposed attacks on civilians and civilian facilities, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday after the Houthi attack on Riyadh's main international airport.
"China condemns the attack that caused heavy casualties, and expresses serious concern over the escalation of the conflict," Mao said at a regular news briefing.
China urges the parties concerned to refrain from actions that could further escalate regional tensions, resolve differences and disputes through dialogue and negotiation, and achieve regional peace and stability at an early date, she said.
