China's Xu Jiayu retains men's 100m backstroke title at Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games

TOKYO, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's Xu Jiayu retained his men's 100m backstroke title at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games here on Sunday.

The four-time Olympic veteran and Asian record holder finished first in 51.98 seconds, setting a new Games record. Japan's Hidekazu Takehara took silver in 53.93, while South Korea's Lee Ju-ho claimed bronze in 53.94. Enditem.
