Senior CPC official meets with Singapore's coordinating minister for public services

BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Shi Taifeng, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met with Singapore's Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing in Beijing on Tuesday.

Shi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the CPC Central Committee's Organization Department, said China is willing to work with Singapore to earnestly implement the important consensus reached between the two countries' leaders, enhance strategic communication, deepen practical cooperation, and promote greater development of bilateral relations.

Shi also briefed the minister on CPC's efforts in studying Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, as well as in establishing and practicing a correct understanding of what it means to perform well among officials.

Chan said the Singaporean side is willing to enhance exchanges and mutual learning with China, and deepen cooperation in areas such as talent training, so as to bring more benefits to the two peoples.
