Hong Kong's visitor arrivals up 11 pct in first 7 months

HONG KONG, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong recorded approximately 31.22 million visitor arrivals in the first seven months of 2026, up 11 percent year on year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board announced on Monday.
From January to July, visitor arrivals from the Chinese mainland reached 24.16 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 13 percent.
In July alone, visitor arrivals reached approximately 4.5 million, up 3 percent compared with the same period last year.
