China's 34th National Book Fair records 1.18 bln yuan in transactions

HANGZHOU, July 28 (Xinhua) -- The 34th National Book Fair concluded on Monday in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, recording total transactions worth 1.18 billion yuan (around 173.71 million U.S. dollars), organizers said.
The four-day event brought together over 1,000 exhibitors from across the country, drawing around 560,000 visitors. Organizers said the fair hosted more than 1,000 reading events, and featured nearly one million titles.
