Clued-in | 'Victim' performance
(People's Daily Online) 17:32, July 27, 2026

Recently, Philippine vessels illegally intruded into China's territorial waters of Huangyan Dao. The China Coast Guard responded with the necessary measures and drove the vessels away in accordance with the law, staying professional and restrained throughout while firmly safeguarding China's rights and working to preserve regional peace and stability.
By contrast, the Philippine side, with armed personnel aboard, deliberately rammed vessels to provoke a confrontation, then selectively edited the footage and played the victim in an attempt to cover up the truth about its provocations and its disruption of regional peace.
This is like a thief shouting "stop thief," and it makes a mockery of the Philippines' international credibility.
