Magnitude-4.7 earthquake strikes off Venezuela's northern coast: EMSC

MEXICO CITY, June 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck off the northern coast of Venezuela on Friday, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), two days after two devastating earthquakes hit the country's northern and central regions.
The earthquake was registered at 2216 GMT 86 kilometers WNW of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas. It originated at a depth of 10 kilometers, EMSC said.
