China, Singapore to hold joint army training
BEIJING, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese and Singaporean militaries will hold Exercise Cooperation 2025 joint army training in Singapore from early to mid-December, according to a statement issued by China's Ministry of National Defense on Wednesday.
Under the theme of joint counter-terrorism operations in the urban terrain, participating troops will organize mutual training and subject matter expert exchange on blast demolition, sniping and unmanned reconnaissance, and conduct command post exercise and live exercise.
This will be the seventh joint training event of the China-Singapore Exercise Cooperation Series, aiming to enhance interoperability in counter-terrorism operations and deepen substantive engagements and cooperation, the statement said.
