84-year-old father and 13-year-old son

A special family lives in Pujiang county, east China's Zhejiang province. Father Zhang Youfu is 84 years old. His two sons, Zhang Bu and Zhang Dui are respectively 14 and 13 years old. The gap between father and youngest son is 71 years.

Zhang Youfu married Zhang Liangping, who is nearly 30 years his junior, when he was 70 years old. Zhang Liangping then gave birth to two sons: Zhang Bu and Zhang Dui.

The family squeezes into a small room of less than 10 square meters, with only two beds and a small television. Their annual income is less than 2,000 yuan. Zhang Youfu was hospitalized five times this year. Sometimes, he is too weak to even stand up.

Zhang Dui studies in a primary school in Pujiang. According to the teacher, he is a shy and sensitive boy. He seldom mentions his family, nor does he communicate much with other children in the class.

Zhang Bu says that he wants to be a movie director in future so he can earn money for his parents. Zhang Dui says he wants to be a doctor so he can protect his parents from diseases. However, in reality, the two children rarely speak with their father. They live in their own world.
