Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting Russia on the first stop of his first foreign tour as China's head of state. The visit has drawn wide attention from Russian media.

RIA Novosti is focusing on the prospects of co-operation in the economy and energy sectors, while ITAR-TASS focuses on the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
