TOKYO, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- The No. 2 reactor at the Onagawa nuclear power plant in northeastern Japan will be halted around Saturday after a small amount of water was found leaking from a valve, Kyodo News reported, citing the plant's operator, Tohoku Electric Power Co.
The company said Thursday that the leaked water has been collected and no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in the surrounding environment around the plant in Miyagi Prefecture.
