China's Yu Zidi sets Asian record to claim second gold at Asian Games

TOKYO, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- China's 13-year-old Yu Zidi claimed her second gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Monday, winning the women's 200m individual medley in an Asian record time of two minutes 6.10 seconds.

China's defending champion Yu Yiting took silver in 2:07.99, while Japan's Narita Mio finished third in 2:10.40.

Yu's performance marked the first Asian record from swimming at the Games. She finished her Games debut with the 200m butterfly title on Sunday.
