Products from S China's Guangxi shine at CIFTIS

The pavilion of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region officially opened on Sept. 9 at the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which runs from Sept. 9 to 13 in Beijing. The pavilion features live demonstrations, hands-on experiences and interactive activities, bringing Guangxi's achievements in trade in services with ASEAN to life through an immersive exhibition.

The pavilion showcases a range of distinctive products and services from Guangxi. Lion dance ornaments, embroidered silk balls, Liubao tea and Xiangyun silk garments have drawn visitors to stop and take photos. AI-powered traditional Chinese medicine and wellness equipment, which visitors can try on site, has become a popular attraction.

The high-end manufacturing services section highlights technological advances in marine engineering equipment, while the smart agriculture services section showcases the large-scale application of digital agricultural solutions in several ASEAN countries.

Data shows that ASEAN has been Guangxi's largest trading partner for 26 consecutive years. In 2025, Guangxi's total foreign trade exceeded 800 billion yuan (about $119.29 billion), while its trade with ASEAN grew at an average annual rate of 12.6 percent.
