Signing up for CISCE highlights Japanese business community's urgent need for better ties: spokesperson
BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Many Japanese enterprises and economic organizations have signed up to participate in the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), a reflection of the Japanese business community's strong desire to improve China-Japan relations and deepen cooperation with China, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday at a regular press briefing.
Guo said China hopes Japanese policymakers will heed and value such voices, face up to the root causes of existing bilateral frictions, conduct earnest reflection and make corrections, and demonstrate sincerity for improving China-Japan ties through concrete actions, so as to create favorable conditions for normal bilateral exchanges.
"We hope that the Japanese business community will actively push for the fostering of a correct view of history in Japan and contribute to the steady improvement of China-Japan relations," he added.
