U.S. quits 66 int'l organizations under Trump's order: White House

WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed a presidential memorandum directing the withdrawal of the United States from 66 international organizations, the White House announced on X.
These international organizations, 35 non-UN organizations and 31 UN entities, "no longer serve American interests," the White House said in a short statement.
