
Some 219 Hunan medical personnel who had assisted Hubei’s epidemic prevention and control returned to #Changsha on March 17 after accomplishing their tasks. They were Hunan’s first batch of returned medical staff.

The medical staff worked in the makeshift hospitals in Wuhan. They were: 42 members of the national emergency medical rescue team of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, who arrived in Wuhan on February 4; 40 members of the first group of traditional Chinese medical rescue team, who arrived in Wuhan on February 10; 102 members of the provincial-level medical rescue team, who arrived in Wuhan on February 15; and, 35 members of the second group of first traditional Chinese medical rescue team, who arrived in Wuhan on February 21. They have rescued 818 confirmed patients among which 613 had discharged from hospitals, while other patients with mild symptoms were transferred to other local hospitals.
All of the returned medical personnel will return to their posts after a 14-day quarantine at designated facilities. (en.changsha.gov.cn)
