The first batch of pure electric buses was put into operation in Pu’er City at the beginning of April this year.

At present, all routes from Ning’er to Simao feature purely electric buses doing 10 rounds on a daily basis. The bus fare is RMB 18/person, with a maximum passenger capacity of 33 people. One-way driving time is about 45 minutes.
