Recently the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has organized a review meeting on the Mid-stage Assessment Report on the Construction of National Green Economy Pilot and Demonstration Zone in Pu'er, Yunnan Province, to assess Pu'er's performance in national green economy pilot & demonstration zone construction.

Experts from the Environmental and Resources Committee of the National People's Congress, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the NDRC Academy of Macroeconomic Research, the School of Environment, Tsinghua University and the China Association of Circular Economy attended the meeting. As a result, Pu'er passed the mid-stage assessment of national green economy pilot and demonstration zone construction by unanimous agreement.
