According to Changsha Metro Group Co, Changsha Metro Line 4 will complete construction and start trial operations by the end of 2018.
The total length of Line 4 is 33.5 kilometers, traveling from Wangcheng district to Changsha county. It has a total of 25 underground stations, all of which have a purple theme. Five special stations, including the Royal Mausoleum Station, Liugoulong Station, Hunan Normal University Station, Hunan University Station, and Shumuling Station, will be designed according to their geographical location, surrounding environment, and cultural attributes.

A leader of Changsha Metro Group Co said that all Line 4 stations had completed construction and 31 trains had been produced by Oct 9. Line 4 is expected to start its trial run by the end of the year.
