The Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has signed 49 projects with a total investment of 66.19 billion yuan ($9.6 billion) in the past eight months.

More than 40 projects are currently underway, such as a community pension service center, an intelligent industry project, and an electronic information industrial park.

In order to ensure the successful completion of each project, the government has strengthened departmental coordination, focusing specifically on improving internal efficiency and saving on time and costs.

Huang Tianyou, a leader of Lugu sub-district, said that all departments are ready to facilitate project development and staff are prepared to serve more than 40 projects in the hi-tech zone.

It is expected that by the end of the year, more than 30 new projects will have begun, more than 25 projects will have been completed, and about 10 signed projects will be fully operational.
