On May 8, Northern Hubei Protection Forest Work Conference was held in Xiangyang. The conference proposed efforts to plant some 450,000 mu of high-standard protection forest in northern Hubei in five years, organically integrate the construction of protection forest and targeted de-obsolescence in northern Hubei with the action of “Green All over Xiangyang”, and contribute to the building of an important green growth pole in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
