Jhutang is located in the northwest of Pu’er City, Lahu autonomous county. There are still 3,477 households and 11,592 people in poverty with a proportion of 42.24%. Jhutang combines ecological construction, poverty alleviation, capital integration and industrial development, and explores a replicable and scalable model for Lahu in the task of poverty alleviation.

Lahu nationality is one of China’s leading ethnic groups and is one of the most famous underdeveloped regions in China.
