Police in southwest China’s Yunnan province are investigating in reports that four tourists were seen deliberately capturing and injuring Black-headed gulls for photo shooting.

Several wounded black-headed gulls were seen in Haigeng Dam, Kunming, a place where thousands of migratory birds would fly from Siberia annually for winter. The injured black-headed gulls all had their wings broken. It’s reported that in order to take pictures with the birds, the tourists deliberately captured these birds and broke their wings, so to prevent them from flying away.

Police has filed an investigation and the involved tourists will be fined severely.
