Giant bluefin tuna sold for $632,000 in Tokyo’s first Tsukiji auction

Local time January 5th is the first auction day of 2017 for Tsukiji market in Tokyo, Japan. Before the opening, many customers went to bid the famous Bluefin tuna, among which, the biggest one, weighing 212 kilograms (467lb), was sold to Kiyoshi Kimura, owner of the sushi chain restaurant Sushi Samadhi, for 74 million yen ($632,000).
