Fantastic scenery of Mount Wuyi in southeast China

Aerial photo taken on May 11, 2016 shows tea plantations at the Mount Wuyi, southeast China's Fujian Province. Mount Wuyi, lying in northern Fujian Province, covers an area of 635.75 sq km. Hailed by Chinese and overseas biologists as a "bank of biological genes in the world", Mount Wuyi, where the climate is mild and humid, and there is plenty of rainfall, preserves primitive forests covering more than 20,000 hectares where some 4,000 plant species are found. It is the fourth Chinese site that has been inscribed on the World Heritage List under both natural and cultural criteria. (Xinhua/Jiang Kehong)
