A 33-year-old man has been arrested for stealing 160 pairs of women shoes in central China’s Hubei province to satisfy his obsession with the odor.
Police officers in Dawu county found at least 160 pairs of women shoes in the suspect surnamed Yang’s apartment. And Yang confessed that he enjoyed smelling the odor in these shoes.
Ever since February this year, police authorities of the county have been seeing incessant cases about women’s shoes being stolen. All of which took place in similar circumstances – shoes unattended and left to dry on a sidewalk. The police then launched an investigation. On April 18, Yang was targeted; when he was about to steel another pair of shoes, the police made the move and caught him on the spot.
