Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Denmark Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen in Washington D.C. on Thursday on sideline of the coming nuclear security summit.
President Xi stressed that China-Denmark relationship is on a new historic starting point, and that both sides should retain the communication in green development, low-carbon recycling, medicine and food. China and Denmark should strengthen intellectual exchange and youth exchange, Xi added.
“China and Denmark should also better coordinate with each other in international organizations such as the United Nations,” said President Xi.
We hope that, with bilateral endeavor, the year 2016 would be a progressive year in China-Denmark comprehensive partnership relationship, and this will better benefit people from both countries, said President Xi Jinping.
