Photos taken on March 26, 2016, show that a newly wedded couple in southwest China’s Chengdu city held a wedding banquet that can accommodate over 200 tables.

The banquet is called “Ba Ba Yan” (banquet in the courtyard) or “Liu Shui Xi” (“streaming feast”) in Chinese.

It is a tradition for Chinese people in rural areas to feast their friends and relatives on special celebration days. In “Ba Ba Yan”, dishes are usually served separately as the guests arrive in succession.
