Shanghai Disneyland announced on Thursday night that it will start selling tickets from 12:01 a.m. next Monday.
Tickets will be sold through three channels, and reservation calls will be accepted starting from 8 a.m. the same day. Each ID can buy a maximum of five tickets. The musical “The Lion King” and the Disney hotel will also start accepting reservations on Monday.
People can buy tickets from the official website of Shanghai Disney Resort, www.shanghaidisneyresort.com. Tickets are also available on Disney Shanghai’s official WeChat, the official flagship store on Alitrip.com and various authorized travel agencies.
The ticket price for weekdays is 370 yuan (US$ 57), while tickets for peak days, including weekends, public holidays and summer holidays, cost 499 yuan (US $81). The ticket price for the opening period (June 16-30) is also 499 yuan.
Infants and young children less than 1 meter tall will get in free of charge. Children, the elderly and people with disabilities will also enjoy a discount.
All tickets sold for Shanghai Disneyland are designated day tickets, meaning that visitors can only use tickets to visit the park on the day designated on the ticket. So it's important for visitors to plan ahead.
