BEIJING, March 25 -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will pay an official visit to Egypt, Israel and Palestine from March 25 to 31, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said on Friday.
Liu will chair the second meeting of China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation Cooperation, Hong said at a regular news briefing.
Liu is invited by the government of Egypt and the government of Israel as well as Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, according to Hong.
