Photos taken on February 21, 2016 show the eruption of the Mount Sinabung volcano in Sumatra, Indonesia. A Bali-based freelance photographer, Albert Damanik, captured the large amount of floating volcanic smoke and ash in time exposure.

The volcanic Mount Sinabung, which is 88 kilometers from the city of Medan in North Sumatra, has been inactive for four centuries before it last erupted in August 2010. Nearly 3,000 people have been evacuated from the local villages as experts warned the volcano could erupt again any time.
