The rare nacreous clouds are seen decorating the sky in north England and part of Scotland in U.K. after storm Henry. The kaleidoscopic scenery was captured in lens timely by many photographers.

Nacreous clouds are often compared to the northern lights due to their vibrant colors and spectacular effects. The nacreous clouds usually form at altitudes of 15,000–25,000 meters in cooler temperatures, and also often spotted in Polar Regions. Due to the high altitude and curvature of the Earth surface, these clouds will receive sunlight from below the horizon and reflect it to the ground, shining brightly well before dawn or after sunset.
