Wu Di wins ATP Challenger Event in Maui

China's top men's tennis player has taken a solid step forward in his career.

24-year old Wu Di has won this year's ATP Challenger event in Maui.

He managed to get past world number-88 Kyle Edmund 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to claim the title.

With the victory, Wu Di becomes the first man from China to win an ATP Challenger Tour event.

He now moves up to 168th in the ATP world rankings.
