
SYDNEY, Nov 11 (People's Daily Online) Standing high on a narrow headland above the sea, Smoky Cape Lighthouse is surrounded by the stunning coastal scenery of Hat Head National Park, where located on South West Rocks, NSW, Australia. Built in 1891, this active lighthouse is one of the last major lighthouse complexes designed by the Colonial Architect, James Barnet.
Smoky Cape is a great spot for whale watching, bird watching, fishing, sunset viewing, and picnicking.
