
According to a CCTV report on Sunday, police in southern China’s Guangdong province have busted the biggest counterfeit money ring since 1949.
The police stormed two secret workshops in Huicheng District and Zhongkai District in Huizhou, Guangdong province on Sept. 17, 2015.
A total of 210 million yuan of 100-yuan fake banknotes, four printing machines and large amount of materials for making the counterfeit banknotes were confiscated in the operation.
29 criminal suspects were arrested.
