Most 16G iPhone users are familiar with the painstaking process of calculating the storage, deleting photos for more space to have new APPs, or clearing cache just to take another selfie.
This does not prove to be a problem for some people in China.Recently, a service provider has come up with an upgrade service that has gone viral in China. It claims that the service can turn a 16G iPhone to 128G within an hour. And the cost? Less than $100, a relatively low price given that a 128G iPhone is far more expensive than a 16G one.
It is said the “technicians” of this service provider are able to decode the IMEI of iPhone’s RAM, which locks any alteration unless verified by Apple. One prominent drawback of this so-called “upgrade” is that parts of the iCloud service will not be available, such as “find my iPhone”.
It is necessary to advise here that anyone interested in giving this service a try should first go back and read the Terms and Conditions written by Apple and mindlessly agreed by you, an Apple customer.
